ohh the 300th post.
ps/ state of mind is pretty incoherent, so things will be all over the place. dont ask me why, no reason, my mind are snychonising with what i am typing.

in the front page of the news annouces the death of yet another person who died in a triathlon. scary isnt it?

successful, young and not bad looking and with him in his prime. what a pity.
poor daughter of his, and his wife.

i wanted to do a triathlon series somday, well, a marathon at least first, or even a half of a marathon, or something like that at least, some sort of physical challenge of fitness for myself. dying in such stuff is the last thing that occured in my mind.

oh wells, if life is full of what ifs, we might as well not lead a life. lol.

(aptly, this article on government- is to inspire us, not to protect us. somewhere along the line, where why US the land of the free ect etc.. security is best achieved when under such circumstances.. cant exactly rmb what it said.. but the line: risk is needed to go forward or smth like that..) shall go read it again. find it pretty useful.

and the article about there will not be starvaton, countary to the idea from thomas malthus (a sadist guy).
logically where the food production is at its max (that is how much the earth can suport) and the population just gets bigger. by right, some of us will just die of hunger right?

ironically, two thirds of the population in US are obese and 1 out of 4 in china are overweight.

why?
GM food, haber process (production of nitrogen->fertilisers-> grow more food) which is ironically used to produce poisonous gas in WWI (?)
[where their aim is to produce more food to cancel of the word starvation. yeah won nobel prize and all, but there are still starvation]

so we end up with food of higher calories?
better tasting food?
and eating more?

blah blah blah.

so the problem lies in how we distribute our food. sadly sadly sadly.

the vicious cycle just goes round.
the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer (note: human geog, GM food)
[in another words, all these advnce food is just too ex for the poor people and so on..]
